My new project!

So, I have decided to take on the task of doing 101 things in 1001 days. This list is new things for me to do. It's much like a bucket list, only gives me a time limit that I know. Sure you have a deadline for the bucket list, but you never know when that time will come. If you want more information on the project, visit the Day Zero Project. I am going to try to blog my way through this list. For accountability on my part, someone out there is going to want to celebrate my small victories of goal accomplishment. Does that even make sense? Yes, this blog will also keep everyone up to date on Jared and me, but a lot of my goals will also include him. I am planning on starting the list June 1st, 2010. When I figured out the time, that will give me until February 25, 2013.

I can add it any time, but not knowing what our financial situation or even where we will be living in 2011, 12, and 13 makes it hard for me to think of goals for those times. I am still interested in any ideas anyone may have. Or if you could help in any way (like offering recipes or what not) that would be greatly appreciated.

Well, that's all I have for today. Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Here goes nothing....

So, I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while now and finally decided to just do it! I figure this is a great way to keep people updated on mine and Jared's life together, if anyone really cares. I don't know exactly what I will write, but I want to write.

I guess I should tell you all how great Jared is! Today was his day off from work, but I think he did more work today than he usually does at work. ha! I am so glad that I found someone who will help out around the house and not complain about it!!

So today I cut Jared's hair... now I have done it before, but usually just one length the whole way around. Our new clippers came with directions on how to do a few simple cuts. So, I tried an easy fade... Let's just say I need more practice! So, needless to say, Jared's hair is all one length and shorter than what I usually cut it.

We have found a new obsession, thanks to facebook. Family Feud! Well, of course FB only allows you to play a certain amount of times. We searched, thank you Google, and found out how to play unlimited times (on a different website).

Well, that is all I have to say for today.

Until next time,

Mrs. G.
